The Council wants to hear from you! There are three ways to get involved in the Grant County Food Policy Council:
- Attend regular Council meetings. Anyone is welcome to speak during the “public input” section of the agenda. Please check this website frequently to learn when the Council will meet next.
- Join a committee. The Council currently has six committees tasked with working on specific issues or areas of concern. Committee membership is open to the public. The six committees are:
a. Food Production
b. Economic Development
c. Public Outreach and Education
d. Farm to Institution
e. Local Food Marketing Campaign
f. FPC Advisory Group (Also the Southwest New Mexico Green Chamber of Commerce local food committee).
3. Become a Council member. Considering applying for an open spot on the Council when available.
